It’s good to have Friends, and we hope you will become one of ours.

Our Friends stand for clean water, environmental protection, and a pristine coastline that supports recreational activities such as kayaking and birding as well as commercial endeavors like eco-tourism and fishing. So many of our Friends are drawn to Southwest Florida because of the beautiful and amazing environment, and they want to see it protected for generations to come. That’s why they – like you – invest in Friends of Rookery Bay, a 501(c)(3) Citizen Support Organization.

Reciprocal Partnership 2026

Naples Botanical Garden will offer free admission to all Friends of Rookery Bay members (one named (1) adult at the Individual level; up to two (2) adults at the Family level and higher with up to four (4) children under age 18) when they present a valid membership card and photo ID. This offer is valid for Sunday and Monday during the month of August and September 2026. This offer applies to regular daily admission only and does not include any major fundraising events and may not be combined with any other discounts.

I just joined - when can I start enjoying my benefits?

If you have opted to have your membership card mailed, it takes a few weeks to receive your membership card in the mail. Otherwise, check your email for your virtual membership that is easily download for iPhone and Android. If you joined online, you should immediately receive an email confirmation. You may use this confirmation email to gain temporary access to our Environmental Learning Center. To enjoy your membership discount code for our events and ecotours, check you membership card or call (239)530-5972.

I joined online, but I didn’t receive an email confirmation. What next?

Membership registration confirmation messages automatically, some email providers’ firewall settings identify the messages as spam. Please check your “junk” mail folder. To ensure future delivery, please add rookerybay.org to your safelist.

I need to change my contact information - how do I do it?

Contact the Friends by phone (239-530-5972) or email to update your membership information.

When do I need to show my membership card?

Present it to the Environmental Learning Center or any institution that is a part of our reciprocal program to receive your membership benefits.

How can I use my bonus benefits with ANCA?

You will need to present your valid membership card to the registration or front desk to receive your membership benefits.

How can I use my bonus benefits with NARM Association?

You will need to present your valid Family or higher level membership card to the registration or front desk to receive your membership benefits.

How to install your digital membership card on your mobile phone?

  • iPhones have a native app called Apple Wallet. Click the “Download” button in the email you received on your iPhone, then “Add to Wallet,” then “Add.” Your digital membership card will automatically download to the Apple Wallet app.
    • To access the digital wallet, swipe down on your home screen to activate the Search function. Type “Wallet” into the search bar. Then, tap the Wallet icon that appears under the “Applications” header. From there, you will be able to access your digital card!
  • If you have an Android device, we would like to share our recommendation for Google Wallet as the #1 option for Android users. Google Wallet is a native OS app that is easy to use, reliable, secure, and already pre-installed on most Android devices:
  • If you choose the Google Wallet app:
    • Make sure the Google Wallet app is installed.
    • Open the email directly from your phone
    • Tap on the “Download Membership” button
    • Click on “add to Google Wallet”
    • A preview will appear. Click on “Save to Google Wallet”
    • In some cases, Google Wallet might ask you to log in so you can save it to an account.
    • Please log in to continue (no credit card information should be required).
    • The card will be saved to Google Wallet and you will be able to access it from the Google
    • Wallet app at any moment.
  • We strongly encourage members to use Google Wallet as the primary digital wallet solution for Android, but will continue to help you in case you’d like to use an alternative Android wallet option, like Wallet by Wallet Union.
