BECOME AN ENVIRONMENTAL CHAMPION
Become a Friend of Rookery Bay
If you live in Southwest Florida, the Reserve protects YOUR coast. Its 110,000 acres stretch from downtown Naples east through the Western Everglades, encompassing 40% of Collier County’s coastline! Reserve scientists monitor water quality, restore mangroves and manage habitat. Reserve educators host field trips for 4th grade, 7th grade and high school students and coordinate diverse programs for visitors of the Rookery Bay Environmental Learning Center.
If you live outside Southwest Florida, the Reserve lands impact YOU because many migratory birds visit or winter here, and the seafood you eat may have started its life in our estuary waters.
Become a Friend
As a member of the Friends of Rookery Bay, you are an intricate part of our organization. Serving as an advocate for this special place, you help us protect what is most dear to Southwest Florida – the environment and wildlife that live here. We value your voice and support.
Memberships start at $20 per year.
Make a Donation
Your donation helps the Friends support the Reserve’s education, research, and conservation efforts. Become a monthly donor, adopt a sea turtle nest, purchase a tribute brick, contribute to our endowment, or support a program of your choice.
Hundreds of volunteers play a vital role in the preservation, restoration and management of our mangrove estuary in the donation of over 18,000 hours a year. We have a variety of opportunities for you to choose from.
Access to our application is temporarily unavailable while we transition to a new volunteer software over the next week. At this time, please email the volunteer coordinator directly at email@example.com for more information.
