Rookery Bay Research Reserve’s Education and Family Programming is going “virtual” every day in April and May. You and your family can learn about the natural environment, animals and waters of Southwest Florida with Rookery Bay’s Virtual Education Programming on The Friends of Rookery Bay’s Facebook Page in April and May. Every week is a new theme and each day is filled with videos, tours, downloadable activities and quizzes.

March 29 – April 3:  Shark Research in Rookery Bay

April 12 – 17:  Water Quality Monitoring

April 19 – 24:   Importance of Plankton

April 26 – May 1:  Coastal Habitats and Wildlife

May 3 – 8:  Fish of Rookery Bay Research Reserve

May 10 – 15:  Marine Invertebrates

May 17 – 22:  Coastal Resilience

So, go virtual in April and May with Rookery Bay! It is the perfect way to learn about the 110,000 acres of land and water in the Reserve as well as the efforts to protect it for you and future generations.
