Membership Levels | Friends of Rookery Bay

We are excited to announce our new website launch on October 31, 2019. The goal of our new website its to provide essential information to visitors, educators, policymakers, stakeholders and others who enjoy or rely on a healthy Collier County coastline. With the updated website, we know that our members may have a lot of questions. Below we have added a FAQ section to help answer any of your questions.

Do I still need to log in?

We no longer use a log in feature for the website. Contact the Friends by phone (239-530-5972) or email if you have questions about your membership status.

How will the new website effect auto renewal?

Our office will contact you the month your membership is set to renew. If you would like to continue using the auto-renewal feature, you will have to sign up again on our new website.

I just joined-when can I start enjoying my benefits?

While you are entitled to start enjoying your benefits immediately, it takes a few weeks to receive your membership card in the mail.  If you join online, you will receive an email confirmation that includes a membership discount code.  Your membership discount can be used for events and purchases in our Nature Store.

I just joined online, but I didn't receive an email confirmation. What next?

RookeryBay.org sends membership registration confirmation messages automatically. However, some email providers’ firewall settings identify the messages as spam. Please check your “junk” mail folder. Contact our office by phone (239-530-5972) or email for further assistance.

I need to change my contact information-how do I do that?

Contact the Friends by phone (239-530-5972) or email to update your membership information.

When do I need to show my membership card?

It is best to have your membership card ready whenever you visit the Environmental Learning Center, especially if you have guests. This way the front desk staff can save time checking to confirm what membership level you have purchased to enable quick admission of your guests. Your card is also necessary in order to take advantage of free admission or nature center discounts, as afforded by the ANCA membership included with your Friends of Rookery Bay membership. This includes admission to the Conservancy of Southwest Florida, Everglades Wonder Gardens, and many other locations around the country.

Rookery Bay Research Reserve
