Kids having a blast at Kids Free Fridays at Rookery Bay | National Estuarine Research Reserve
Kids & Families

June 14 - August 2, 2019

Kids Free Fridays is one of our most popular summer education programs. Offered June through August with themed programs, hands-on activities, craft rooms, story time, films, and a naturalist presentation that is perfect for the entire family!

2019’s theme is “Summer of Science.” Each week will feature a different naturalist talking about the local environment and animals. In addition to the craft rooms, story time, feature film, and naturalist presentation,  two labs are offered each Friday, giving kids an opportunity to learn how to cast a fishing rod and “read” a fish.

Food will be available for purchase during lunch hours — pre-registration is encouraged.

Even more fun at Rookery Bay!
